To get started with using our Direct Deposit feature, you'll need to perform several setup tasks.
The steps involved are accessible from the Payor menu across the top of the screen. Each step will have a green check mark next to it, once you have completed the step.
Enable Two Step Authentication
We highly recommend that you enable two step authentication. Two Step Authentication enhances the security of your account by requiring more than just your password to login to assignr.com.
Once enabled, when you login, assignr.com may ask for a one-time code to be entered along with your password. assignr.com can send these one-time codes to you by text message.
Create a Payment Account
Individuals or organizations that are paying officials will need to provide personal and/or business information (date of birth, social security number/EIN, etc.). You may be asked to provide scanned documentation, such as a US government issued ID or state issued driver's license.
Add a Bank Account
Once your payment account has been created, you'll need to add and verify the bank account that will be used to pay officials. The bank account will be verified by providing bank login credentials or by entering the amounts of two small deposits initiated by assignr.com.
Officials - W9 and Bank Account
Officials will login to assignr.com and provide their bank account and routing number. They will also fill out a W9 and provide their social security number.
Our payment services are purchased on an annual basis. Each plan has a base fee that is paid in advance, which allows you to process a specific volume or number of transactions over the course of the year. Transactions processed beyond the limit(s) purchased will be charged a transaction fee.
If your organization assigns officials and pays them as well, you'll approve the games to be paid prior to processing payment.
For leagues or schools that do not have assigning responsibilities, games will be approved in advance of your paying the assigned officials.
Once the payment amounts have been approved, you will use the payment screen to authorize the payment amounts for each official. We will make a withdrawal from your bank account or stored balance, and deposit the funds into each official's designated bank account.
Availability & Eligibility
Direct Deposit is only available for customers located in the United States. If you are located outside of the United States, and are interested in using Direct Deposit, please contact us, and we will let you know once we make this service available outside of the United States.
Customers must be on the League, Elite, or Enterprise plan in order to use Direct Deposit. Customers on the Recreational plan will need to upgrade in order to use this service.
