Two Step Authentication enhances the security of your account by requiring more than just your password to login to Assignr.

Once enabled, when you login, Assignr may ask for a one-time code to be entered along with your password. Assignr can send these one-time codes to you by text message.

Codes are only valid for a short period of time, and can only be used once.

These codes are not requested on each login. They will generally only be requested when you login from a new web browser, or if you have not entered a code within the last 30 days.

To enable Two Step Authentication:

  • Click your name in the upper right corner of the screen

  • Choose Profile

  • Click Enable 2 Step Auth

You'll be asked for your mobile number:

Assignr will send you a text message with a single use code. Once you receive it, enter the code into Assignr.

Logging In

When logging in, if Assignr needs a code, it will send you a text message with the code.

Each code expires in a short period of time, and can only be used once.

Disabling Two Step Authentication

If you would like to disable Two Step Authentication:

  • Click your name in the upper right corner of the screen

  • Choose Profile

  • Click Disable 2 Step Auth
