How to Create a Payor

A Payor is an organization that funds payments to officials. Depending on who pays your officials, a Payor could be an officiating association, league, school, or individual.

To create a Payor, move through the following steps:

1. On the left-hand side of the screen, select Pay Officials.

🚨 Once a site has created one Payor, the Pay Officials button transitions to a Financials menu.

If this is not your site's first payor, and you would like to add another payor, then select Financials β†’ View Payors β†’ Add a Payor instead.

2. Enter the name of the organization or individual that is paying officials.

3. If your site will only ever have one entity paying officials, select the Default Payor checkbox.

4. Select Save.

Next Steps:

From here, if there is anyone outside of yourself who will be involved in pushing payments through to officials, you'll want to grant them access to your payor. You can learn how to do this here: How to give Users Payor Permissions.

If you are the only individual that will be involved in pushing payments through to officials, you can move onto setting up your payment account: How to Set Up a Payment Account.
