Assignr offers you the option to send automated game notifications to your coaches or school personnel for all games associated with their school(s) and/or team(s).
These notifications are sent out 3 days prior to each game, and will include the contact information for each assigned official in it.
Note 💡 : if you haven't already, you may want to add your coaches & school personnel to the system first, which you can learn how to do here.
1. First : Enable Coaches & School Personnel Pre-Game Notifications on your Assignr site.
These notifications can be enabled from the Site Settings page.
From the upper right-hand corner of your account, select Your Name → Account.
Select the list of Disabled Features.
Select the checkbox next to Game Notifications to Coaches and School Personnel.
Select Save.
2. Then, set each Coach & School Personnel member up to receive their pre-game notifications.
Note 💡 : On our elite, enterprise, and per-game plans, Assignr also offers an additional Schools feature. Assignr will handle your coaches & school personnel notifications slightly differently depending on whether you use the Schools feature or not.
For sites that use the Schools Feature:
Assignr will automatically set up your coaches & school personnel notifications for you.
If a site has the Schools functionality enabled, and has the Game Notifications to Coaches and School Personnel feature enabled, then Assignr will automatically send the relevant people notifications.
Here's how it works on the backend. Assignr will:
Determine which school(s) are involved in a given game,
Then, determine whether the school user has permissions to view that game.
If a user is a member of the specific school and can see the game, then they will receive a notification for said game three days prior to the date that it is scheduled.
For sites that do not use the Schools Feature:
Enable notifications under Maintenance → Teams.
If your site does not use our Schools feature, you'll need to enable notifications for your coaches from the Teams page.
Here's how to do that:
Navigate to Maintenance → Teams.
Either Edit an existing team, or + Add New Team, for whatever team you'd like to add a coach to.
Enter the Team name, along with any other relevant team information up top.
Under Coach Information:
For a coach with their own Assignr profile: select their name from the Coach dropdown.
For a coach without an Assignr profile: enter their contact information in the Coach Name, Phone Number, and Email Address text boxes.
Select Save.

1. Are coaches & school personnel notifications available on all Assignr plans?
Yes! One thing to note: you must be on an elite, enterprise, or per-game plan in order to add someone with Manager permissions, and in order to use our Schools feature.
