We send assignors certain notifications by default. If you're in assignor, you have the option to edit your profile so that you receive additional notifications if you would like to. We'll walk through how to do that in this article.

How Default Assignor Notifications Work:

By default, assignors received notifications for games that their permissions give them access to.

If a site has league-specific permissions enabled, then assignors will receive notifications for the leagues and games that they have permissions to view.

If an assignor has permissions that will allow them to see all games, then they will receive the default notifications for each of those games.

Default Notifications Include:

  1. Declined assignment notifications,

  2. Daily summaries,

  3. Undeliverable emails,

  4. Game requests, and

  5. If you use a site key: a daily email with a list of officials who have signed up using your site key.

Assignor Notifications β€” Frequently Asked Questions

1. As an assignor, can I opt out of receiving notifications?

Yes! To do this, follow these steps:

  1. From the upper right-hand corner of your account, select [Your Name] β†’ Profile.

  2. Select Edit.

  3. Under Notifications, uncheck the checkbox next to Receives Standard Assignor Notification Emails.

  4. Remove any data in the Additional Notifications dropdown.

  5. Select Save.

We do not recommend doing this, as assignors typically benefit from receiving at least our standard notifications.

2. As an assignor, can I receive my notifications by email and push notification?

At the moment, assignor notifications are sent via email only.

If your site is on a plan that includes push notifications, then you do have the option to send notifications to your officials as both emails and push notifications.

3. I am a site administrator/owner. Can I adjust what notifications my assignors receive, on their behalf?

No. Assignors will need to update their permissions directly from within their own profile.
