Once a game has been published, the assigned officials will be sent an email asking them to confirm their game assignments. This is meant to inform you if they'll be able to work their game(s) or not.

If an official accepts a game, you will receive a daily email summary that lists all accepted games that day. This email summary will also list the games that have not been accepted yet (or are unconfirmed).

Officials that have not confirmed their games will receive a daily email asking them to confirm their game assignments.

You can navigate to the Games → Unconfirmed games page to view unconfirmed assignments. You will also receive a daily email summary that includes any unconfirmed assignments in it.

If an official declines a game, you will receive an email notification immediately. You will then need to re-assign that assignment. More information on how to do this is below.

If you have games that have been declined, you will need to reassign them.

Regardless of your site settings, the top of your Games page will at least prompt you to reassign any declined assignments.

You can select the link that reflects the action you'd like to take. Otherwise, you can navigate to the Games → Declined page, and reassign the games when you're ready.

You can reassign games the same way you'd normally assign games. Just be sure not to assign anyone to a game that has previously declined it: How to Assign Officials to a Game.

Once you reassign (and/or remove) a declined assignment, the official that declined the assignment will be notified that they have been removed from the game.

If an official has been assigned to a game, they will be paid for the game, regardless of whether the status of the assignment is accepted, declined, or unconfirmed.
