There are several locations where reports can be run, and data can be exported from the platform.

From the Reports Page.

The main spot to run reports is from the Reports page, which we'll be focusing on in this article.

You can also run reports from...

  1. The bottom of the People page (to export a list of people).

  2. The bottom of the Games page (to export a list of games or assignments).

  3. The Financial module, in the Statements and Payments pages. Learn how to run these financial reports here: Financial Reports.

What Types of Reports can I run?

Report Name

Report Description

Games

The Games report is a list of all games; one row per game.

Assignments

The Assignments report is nearly identical to the Games report, except each game assignment is on a row.

For example, for games that expect 3 officials to be assigned to it, the game will have three separate rows in the spreadsheet.

Games by Venue

The Games by Venue report is a list of all games; one row per game, sorted by venue.

Budget

The Budget report provides a high-level overview of fees that are configured for each day's games; one row per date.

The Budget report assumes that each game is played (e.g. not cancelled), and that all assigned officials show up.

Payroll Summary

The Payroll Summary report rolls up the total game fees and travel fees owed/paid to each assigned official; one row per official.

Payroll Detail

The Payroll Detail report provides the game fees and travel fees for each game assignment; one row for each assignment.

Billing Detail

The Billing Detail report includes the total game fees, travel fees, and assignor fees owed/paid for each game; one row per game.

This is a great report to run if you're looking for a breakdown of money owed to both officials and assignors (e.g. for the purposes of paying these fees outside of the platform).

Game Reports

(All Detail)

The Game Reports (All Detail) report is an export of all submitted game report data; one row per submitted game report.

Game Reports (Misconduct Detail)

The Game Reports (Misconduct Detail) report is an export of all game report misconduct data; one row per submitted game report.

Game Count by Position

The Game Counts by Position report provides a count of the number of times each official has worked a specific position; one row per official.

Game Count by Date

The Game Counts by Date report provides a count of the number of times each official has worked on each given date; one row per official.

Declined Games Detail

The Declined Games Detail report shows all game decline data; one row per game decline.

Declined Games Summary

The Declined Games Summary reports provides a count of how many times an official has declined assignments; one row per official.

USSF License Summary

The USSF License Summary report shows officials' USSF IDs along with the dates that their certifications were issued; one row per official.

Unassigned Games

The Unassigned Games report shows a list of all games that have at least one unassigned position; one row per unassigned game.

Overlapping Games

The Overlapping Games report shows a list of games that have another game happening at the same venue/sub-venue, with an overlapping time range.

For example, if one game at a venue/sub-venue starts at 8 AM and another at the same venue/sub-venue starts at 8:05 AM, those would be considered overlapping.

Reports β€” Frequently Asked Questions

1. I'm confused about what some of the report fields (column headers) mean. Can you explain them to me?

Most fields in our reports are self-explanatory. Here are a few that likely need a little more explanation:

Report Field Name
(Column Header)

Description of Field

Confirmed

This tells you if an assignment has been accepted or declined by the assigned official. The system will show an A for games that have been accepted, and a D for games that have been declined and where the official has not yet been removed from the game.

Default Fee

The default fee is the configured default fee for the position, based on the game's age group, pattern, position, and (sometimes) league. You can learn more about how to set up game fees here.

Override Fee

The override fee (if any) is the game fee that's overriding any default fees that were configured for an assignment's age group, pattern, position (and league).

Pay Scale Fee

The pay scale fee (if any) is the game fee that's set for the assigned official, based on that assigned official's pay scale. If pay scales are not used, or the official is not assigned to a pay scale, this will be blank. You can learn more about how pay scales work here.

Budgeted Fee

The budgeted fee is the amount that is budgeted for this game, regardless of whether the game has been assigned or not, and regardless of whether the game has been cancelled or not. This amount will be, in priority order, the Override Fee, the Pay Scale Fee, the Default Fee (within the game's League), and the Default Fee (within the game's Age Group).

Final Fee

The final fee is the actual amount that should be paid to the official. This will be zero if the game status is set to cancelled without pay, or if an official is not assigned to the position.

2. We pay our officials via direct deposit through the platform. Are there additional Financial Reports I can run?

Yes! If you are using our financial module, either to track payments or to pay officials via direct deposit, then you can learn how to run additional financial reports here.

3. I'm an official, not an assignor. Can I also run reports from my account?

Yes! You'll notice the types of reports you can run are slightly different in the sense that they will only include information that pertains to you and your assignments. However, the process for running a report is the same, whether you're an assignor or official.

4. I'm looking for information on Game Reports. Am I in the right place?

Not quite! But we've got you covered. πŸ‘ If you're an administrator looking for information on how to set up game reports, check out this article. And if you're an official looking for guidance on how to submit game reports, you'll want to read this article.
